The Psycho-Oncology Service provides a range of counselling and therapeutic interventions to help patients, carers and their families who are having difficulties in coping with social, emotional and physical consequences associated with having a cancer diagnosis.

Other Counselling and Patient Support Services
The Sydney Cancer Centre also offers social workers and psychologists who provide counselling and therapy for individuals, couples and families who are experiencing psycho-social issues because of a cancer diagnosis. Our patients, their carers and families can phone directly to make an appointment, or may be referred by one of their Sydney Cancer Centre health professionals.
