Registrar TrainingAll departments within the Sydney Cancer Centre are involved in registrar training. Opportunities exist each year for medical practitioners who wish to train in cancer related specialties to apply for positions at the Centre. Appointment to registrar posts is part of the general appointment procedure for registrars within the public hospital system.
Advertisements calling for applications are placed in newspapers in July each year, and the usual closing date for applications is the second week of August.
